Looking for help with my Audi TT - help me replace vacuum lines

Description

Hello, I would like to pay someone to help me start replacing vacuum lines and doing other miscellaneous service on my ancient unreliable 2001 Audi TT 225 coupe. I have a great local mechanic WAR auto for the big jobs, recently had the sump cleaned pickup pipe and oil pump replaced as it was throwing low oil pressure - so the car is driving really well, but definitely has some vacuum leaks and probably other issues too, it's eating oil at a pretty good rate. Anyways I would love to be able to do some of this myself but I don't have a ton of comfort / familiarity with cars and doing the wrenching myself. When I was young I used to help changing the oil, and I have done simple tasks like replacing struts and reglueing the headliner, sanding down the headlights, etc. I bought a jack, jack stands, and I have a tiny little garage and a small driveway to work in, so it seems the last piece missing is to order some parts and start doing. I would like someone to guide me through making some improvements, we plan out what to buy, then we plan a time for you to show up and we can do some work. Maybe do two or three rounds of that. Part of the issue here is that my dad died 10 years ago and I lost my garage buddy! So I'll hire one, it's all good. You should be willing to hang out a little and not rush through the job, the point is to enjoy the process. To clarify, I don't want someone to just come do this for me, I want to be doing it myself and have guidance and a set of hands present who can help if things go wrong. Make me an offer and consider that these should hopefully be more 'advisory' hours - I think there could be two baskets of advisory hours, time spent not physically present, and hours spent present, which I think could have different rates. Thank you! Best, Alex
