Description

I am considering rehoming my hedgehog. He is a male, typical white body grey quills, he is relatively small compared to other hedgehogs I have had. Here is my issue, I have had other hedgehogs in the past that were easy to handle and enjoyed attention and socialization. I got this little guy a few months ago from someone rehoming him, they told me he was about a year old-still pretty young and I thought I would be able bond with him and tame him. But from my understanding I think he is way older. All he does is sleep and eat, I have tried to tame him to the best of my ability but he hates to be held or touched. When I get him out of his cage to let him run around all he does is try to find something to sleep in. He has a nice wheel and toys in his cage but he had never used them. I would really like someone who either has more experience or understands that this hedgehog is more of a pet to be enjoyed from a distance than something to be handled. I would only ask a very small rehoming fee and he would come with his home made cage (made from hardware wire, corregated plastic, and pallet boards). Please let me know if you have any interest in this spikey boy, I just feel like he doesn't have a good quality of life with me. He needs a nice quite place to live out the rest of his days.
