Hey....40 year old musician here. I have played drums for most of my musical career but I am switching to bass. I'm OK at bass. If given time I can write good bass lines, I'm just not a jammy type bassist. Can't really go on the fly yet. Probably not far off from that though...just need more time. I'm a stoner rock guy. My main influences are QOTSA, Red Fang, Monolord, Glowsun, Elder, The Sword, Melvins, Ghost, Gojira, Orange Goblin, Electric Wizard, etc. I like sludgy, heavy songs that have gravitas! I have good gear and I've performed hundreds of times in front of crowds both large and small. I just wanna play.
