Guitarist/Synthesist Seeks Bandmates for noisy, proggy band

I'm a guitarist and occasional synthesist looking to start or join a band. I'm into aggressive, melodic and dynamic music in the vein of e.g. Trail of Dead, At the Drive-In, I Love You but I've Chosen Darkness and Wire, with a smattering of prog influences a la Rush and indie rock like Dinosaur Jr, Built To Spill and Secret Machines. Disclaimer: I haven't played in a band in quite a long time, but I'm excited to get back into it and would ideally like to play shows around town and record. I have some recording gear including several mics and a semi-pro interface, plus plenty of experience using Logic Pro for recording demos.
