MIDDLETOWN, RI — A portion of Burma Road in Middletown will be closed Sunday due to pothole repair. Work will begin at 7 a.m. and is scheduled to wrap up around 2 p.m. Naval Station Public Works will fill potholes on Defense Highway from Gate 17 to the intersection with Greene Lane. Traffic will be detoured at that time with signs designating alternate routes.
