County Grounds Parks Land Stewardship - Volunteer Trash Removal **Important location information in bold below** Join other volunteers for 1, 2 or 3 hours of removing trash at County Grounds Park. Enjoy a beautiful walk with a trash bag helping remove the spring trash and debris build up. Together we can restore the park from winter acumulation and prepare for all our spring visitors - people and animals! Easy activity for all ages, ideal for families with small children! No experience needed, trash bags, training, and location assigments will be provided. Bring your favorite gloves, or we will have some to loan. Reservation requested for coordination purposes. Consider bringing your own water container, we will have additional water onsite. County Grounds Park has no formal address, but can be found and navigated to via Apple/Google/Waze Maps searching “Sanctuary Woods Parking”. The square gravel parking lot is 0.5 mile north and west of 87th & Watertown Plank Road (just beyond a paved parking circle). Eventbrite requires an address, but this address only gets you close. The coordination point is at the parking lot in the center of the park, see park map at: www.countygroundsfriends.org Dress for the weather, we will hold event unless there is lightning. There are no onsite restrooms. Friendly pets on leash are welcome.
