Description

A foraging field trip to learn how to harvest the season's wild bounty, followed by a cooking class with native PNW ingredients. Learn about seasonal wild edible plants, how to identify and how and when to harvest during the field trip portion of this class. Then return to our commercial kitchen to cook up something to take home and create something unique and special for friends and family. The native ingredients change with the seasons. Stinging Nettle Pesto, March 26 and April 9. Pickled Sea Beans April 23 and May 14, Spruce Tip Syrup May 21 and June 11, Ivan Chai, June 25 and July 9 & Seaweed Salad July 23 and August 13.
