Mindful and creative scavenger hunt in Joshua Tree

Description

We will meet at a locally favorite coffee shop in the adorable town of Joshua Tree. Your host will greet and get to know everyone, go over the ground rules of the mindful scavenger hunt, get everyone excited and motivated for their adventure, and help teams choose team names and take their official team selfies. The host will then lead a mindful and wacky warm up to prepare everyone for this true sport and lead everyone in their first several challenges. Next, competing teams will have the rest of the two hours to work together to bounce around the cute town as well as the nearby high desert. This is not a guided tour. Guests will be self guided but connected by text to their host after an in person pow wow to then explore hidden gems and local secrets and quirks we have curated for them in the area; learn about the art, culture, and history of the high desert; practice mindfulness at some locations and get outside of their unique comfort zones to complete creative tasks at others; and bond and make memories with their cohorts - all while having fun competing for bragging rights and the winning title, with the pictures to prove it! All participants will get to see their team names on our company’s leaderboard on our website and enjoy future perks/discounts as part of our free and exclusive hunt club for our alums. Plenty of creative freedom is built in for all!
