Kimpton Hotel Monaco Denver Honors Women’s History Month by Hosting Speed ‘Dating’ History Pop-Up created by Athena Project In honor of Women’s History Month Kimpton Hotel Monaco Denver, the original Denver boutique hotel, will partner with leading Colorado museums to provide a complimentary pop-up event, created by Athena Project, focusing on prominent historic women leaders of the west. Delivered via an engaging “speed dating” set-up, attendees will have the opportunity to move from station to station where they’ll learn firsthand facts from local curators about women pioneers including Anne Evans (told by the Center for Colorado Women’s History ), Dr. Justina Ford (told by Black American West Museum) and Molly Brown (told by the Molly Brown House Museum). Guests attending the event will also enjoy curated music and a satellite bar from Panzano featuring historic cocktails such as the Bee’s Knees – a favorite libation of Molly Brown.
