Join us for an afternoon of all things gut health and take home your gut-soothing foods made in class! We're increasingly learning that so much of our physical and mental health is tied to our gut. This class is designed to share information and recipes that soothe the gut and the soul. Every participant will make sauerkraut, a ginger-turmeric spice blend, and gut-soothing herbal tea - everyday foods that can help decrease inflammation and deliver loads of good bacteria to your second brain! Date and Time: Saturday, May 21st from 4 to 5:30 pm PST Instructor: Christine Ciganovich If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, let us know as soon as possible so we can accommodate you. This class will be vegan and gluten free. Ownership Perks: Co-op Owners receive 10% off the class price! This class is mask-optional for vaccinated participants or those with recent negative results (within 48 hours of the class). In order to enter the Teaching Kitchen without a mask, we will ask for proof of vaccination or recent negative test results. Unvaccinated participants without recent negative test results will be asked to wear a mask while they are not actively eating or drinking.
