Enjoy an afternoon screenwriting intensive led by veteran author/producer Lorisa Bates. Write, revise and pitch your short screenplay. Are you seeking a nurturing environment to revise your screenplay? Do you have a project in development and need to refine your first screenplay? Are you interested in creating strong female characters that resonate with audiences? Reel Sisters is bringing our popular screenwriting series to Harlem! Enjoy an afternoon screenwriting intensive designed to help you write, revise and pitch your film project. Come prepared with your log line and treatment and ready to write or revise your script in a nurturing environment of professional filmmakers and creators. Writers will work in small groups and one-on-one with veteran author/producer Lorisa Bates, Vice President of Content Strategy, Co-Productions & Multiplatform at BET Networks. She manages multiple teams that collaborate and communicate with key departments, including Digital, Creative Services, Corporate Communications, Content Management and Original Programming.
