Join the Rainbow Youth Center for Queer Space! Welcome to QUEER SPACE at Buckley Park! With live music by Profetic Calaveras and Denae Stucka-Benally and a family-friendly youth talent show, we've got a fun filled night planned! In addition, bid on our silent auction items, take photos at the photo booth and get dinner from Rez Girl Catering. This summer we'll also have a bouncy house snow cones and cotton candy! Proceeds from ticket sales will go to forming a LGBTQIA+ youth of culture group. We recommend bringing lawn chairs or a blanket to sit in the grass in front of the stage. We also ask that you leave your furry friends at home, as dogs will not be allowed into the event. Schedule of Events: 4pm to 4:30pm- Opening music by Denae Stucka-Benally4:30pm to 5pm - Land acknowledgement and Introductions5pm-5:45pm - Profetic Calaveras5:45-6:15pm - Youth Talent Show6:15pm-7pm - Profetic Calaveras- throughout the night, enjoy silent auction bidding, take pictures at the space themed photo booth, purchase RYC merchandise, and eat dinner from Rez Girl Catering Music: Profetic Calaveras - a Latin-Funk-Fusion group. Since 2016, the group has been spreading positive energy and light from coast to coast. Originally formed in Tyler, Texas and currently based out of Durango, Colorado, the multi-instrumental progressive ensemble has been described as an eclectic mix of sounds inspired by Santana, Vulfpeck, Khruangbin, Rush, and more. Denae Stucka-Benally - singer-songwriter Youth Talent Show: Family-friendly talent show starts at 5:45pm. Silent Auction: Gift baskets, Osprey packs, artwork and more! Make your bids throughout the night and winners will be announced at 7pm. There are no refunds for this event, so please check your calendar. We can't wait to see you at Buckley Park!
