Press release from the City of Ankeny: October 13, 2020 The City of Ankeny is beginning the process of preparing all city parks for winter. This work includes closing restrooms and turning off water fountains for the winter months, please plan accordingly. Oct. 13-16: Splash pads at Dean, Sunrise and Crestbruck Parks will be closed.Oct. 19-23: Permanent restrooms, drinking fountains and any other amenities that are fed by shallow water lines will be closed.Oct. 26-30: Portable restrooms will be removed from parks.
