Press release from the City of Ankeny: November 17, 2020 Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020: The City of Ankeny will install a new all-way STOP in Uptown Ankeny, at the intersection of SW 3rd Street and SW Maple Street this afternoon. This change is to support pedestrian travel between parking locations and businesses in Uptown and the Ankeny Market & Pavilion. New ADA-compliant ramps have been installed and new crosswalk and stop lines are being painted. Red flags will be affixed to the STOP signs and 'Traffic Control Change Ahead' signs will be placed on each approach to alert drivers. This press release was produced by the City of Ankeny.
