Join us at our first ever bicycle maintenance beginner course at ATX Bikes! You'll leave with the knowledge on how tune up your own bike. Who: El Mecanico and ATX Bikes What: Park Tools School Beginner Classes are $200 (4 day course, 5 hours total) **3 SPOTS AVAILABLE PER COURSE** When: Classes for this course will be on May 4th, 5th, 11, and 12th @ 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm. Students welcome to arrive at 6:15 and hang out til 8:15 to purchase parts or tools. Parts might be needed for your bike depending on its condition. Beginner classes will be every FIRST and SECOND week of every month on Wednesday and Thursday. Where: ATX Bikes service department Why: To learn how to properly work on your bike at home so you can save money, enjoy your cycling hobby even more, and show off in front of your friends! Requirements: You MUST bring your own bike. Each student MUST purchase the Park Tools BBB-4 Big Blue Book of Bicycle repair 4th Edition. There will be some in stock and available for purchase at ATX Bikes. Students MUST show up on time. We will not backtrack during class in respect students who are attending. Payments/Refunds: Tuition must be PAID IN FULL before attending classes to ensure a spot. Refunds will be happily issued if notice is given 7 days in advance. The price of the course is for the classes only. This price does not include any tools, parts, or literature. Class instructor will reach out to you after class enrollment for payment. Notes: All enrolled students get 10% off any tools and parts before and after classes. (Not during ATX Bikes business hours) We ask that all phones be put on silent during class. If you have to take a call you may step outside. You are more than welcome to bring a pen and note pad, your lap top, your child, your dog, a six pack of beer (If you're over 21), etc. as long as it is not a distraction to our class. We're pretty chill, we expect you to be to. Please keep in mind that we will only be teaching the people who are enrolled in the course. Ex: Dad came along with Jimmy and wants to learn as well. Sorry dad we're only teaching Jimmy. Unless dad is enrolled. If we must, we will ask you to reschedule for a personal class where we can cater to you as an individual or as a family. PAYMENT/REFUND POLICY IS FIRM. If there is an emergency please reach out to us we understand that life happens. We can work with you to reschedule. By enrolling in classes students are agreeing to attend all classes. Refunds will not be issued for partial attendance.
