Intro to Ferns with Roanne Robbins We will start our adventure in our outdoor classroom with a lecture and discussion of fern terminology. During this time, we will observe and discuss defining characteristics and habitats, practice species identification by utilizing fern sets and fern keys, and learn some interesting historical facts. After a small break and snack, we will explore the gardens and practice our identification in the field. Class fee includes fern key, field guide, and loupe. Ages: Adult and teen
