MIDDLETOWN, RI — There will be a one-day delay in this week's trash, recycling and yard waste pickup due to the Memorial Day holiday. Residents are asked to be patient this week with extra volume expected due to the nicer weather, three-day holiday weekend and extra day between pickups. Those wishing to report a missed pickup are asked to contact Republic Services at 800-825-3260.
