Description

Join Knoxville's data science professionals for a presentation & discussion on this global warming project that uses Alteryx and Tableau. This Data Science event is an opportunity to make new connections with peers at other Knoxville companies and discuss how data analytics is being used to evaluate and solve real world problems. In order to promote lively conversation and idea sharing, this will be an in-person event for data scientists and technology leaders, with appetizers and drinks provided. Ken Black, Senior Data Scientist at General Motors and author of the Datablends blog will be sharing about his 8-year study on global warming that uses Alteryx and Tableau to quantify and visualize the statistically significant temperature changes that have happened over the past 6 decades. After the presentation, Q&A will be facilitated with open discussion and networking to follow. Masks are not required, but we encourage attendees to follow social distancing and mask wearing according to their vaccination status and personal comfort level.
