FREE MASTERCLASS with producer, engineer, instrumentalist & composer - Hamilton Hardin
Although his musical heritage begins with the in-your-face funk of his native Ohio,
Hamilton Hardin is no stranger to the blues city. The former A&R for Made In Memphis
Entertainment became a mainstay in the Memphis music scene as an instrumentalist,
producer, and arranger. He has played a fair share of tours as a saxophonist, bassist,
pianist, and drummer. One familiar name he has done all of these for is Memphis’ own Kirk
Whalum. Hamilton has also established himself as a force in music as an artist and
songwriter. In his masterclass, he will speak to our students about how he uses jazz,
blues, soul, and gospel in his own work. He’ll also speak to the importance of
understanding music from the perspective of other musicians (even through other
instruments) to create profound musical moments on stage.
More information on Hamilton as his work can be found at https://www.hamiltonhardin.com
