Boost your creativity AND confidence in the kitchen at our hands-on baking workshops! A fun, creative hands-on experience for young bakers eager to learn independence in the kitchen. What will I learn in this class? Students will learn how to make our signature Deluxe Chocolate Chip Cookies. They'll learn the basics of making a drop cookie, the creaming method, and even get creative with alternative add-ins! Each ticket is for one youth (age 10-15). No prior baking experience needed. We will be using stand mixers, hot ovens, and common kitchen equipment- student should have the ability to focus for duration of class and follow instructions re: use of equipment & tools. Doors open 10 min before class; parent/guardian should check participant in, then may pick up at class end time... just in time to enjoy a warm cookie! +++++ ABOUT MUDDY'S HANDS-ON BAKING CLASSES Muddy's hands-on baking classes are in-depth AND fun! Class sizes are small so students have ample opportunity for guidance & questions. Your instructor will demonstrate every step of the recipe and be available as you try each step yourself. You will have your own work table and will complete the entire recipe... and of course, you'll leave with your goodies! Who should participate? This youth class is appropriate for younger bakers (recommended for age 10-15). Student should have the ability to focus for duration of class and follow instructions re: use of equipment & tools. Are classes wheelchair accessible? All our student tables are height-adjustable, so if you need special accommodations, just let us know ahead of time and we'll be sure to have the table and your spot all ready for you! What about cancellations/refunds? Classes are small and space is extremely limited, so all ticket sales are final. Please check the date and time carefully before booking. If you cannot make it to your class, you are welcome to gift your ticket to a friend. Mask must be worn throughout event. If you show proof of vaccination + booster, you may opt to remove your mask.
