Montgomery Pet Sitters are looking for part time dog walkers, house and pet sitters for those areas to work for us starting as independent contractors to grow into a leadership role. We are an established pet sitting and dog walking company that has been providing loving care for family pets in these areas since 2008 and we have significantly raised the bar ever since. Potential jobs include dog walking, cat sitting, day & overnight pet/house sitting, dog boarding, pet taxi & other personalized pet care as requested by our clients. The more you grow into the management, the more relevant will administrative skills be! Primary work type includes dog walking and/or house sitting. Providing safe and loving and reliable care for different kinds of animals will be your duty. Establishing and maintaining great client relationships through positive attitudes & experiences, frequent and clear communication and unwavering desire to provide the most loving pet care possible is our goal! Candidates must be able to perform all of the duties listed above. The work schedule varies depending on the clients' needs and may include mornings, mid-day, evenings, weekdays, weekends, overnights and holidays. Our care givers will be independent contractors. Our dog walkers receive a commission significantly above average, based on the actual fee for the service being performed. You will be responsible to file your own taxes and provide your own health insurance, you will not be an employee but a contractor. This is a part-time job, but not a summer job; we seek and offer commitment in the long run. Suitable candidates will have the possibility to quickly grow into a leading role! Qualifications: You possess a passion for animals and commitment to consistently provide excellent client service. You have experience owning a pet as the primary caregiver. Experience with rescue groups or shelters is welcomed. You have excellent communication, follow-up and time management skills You have your own, reliable transportation You have internet access & cell phone, you read e-mails. You have a clear driving record. You have your own medical and car insurance. You are willing to work Thanksgiving and/or Christmas Day, these are very busy days. Work history with a professional dog walking, pet sitting, or daycare company is a huge plus and establishing new relationships to new customers will get you bonus payments! You will need to be available Monday through Friday on the core hours of 10am to 3pm. Ideal candidates understand that our clients consider their pets as a member of the family and will not stand for anything less from their pet caregiver.
