POINT PLEASANT, NJ — If you were planning to cook dinner Saturday night, cancel your plans: the St. Martha Council of the Knights of Columbus is hosting a free pasta and meatballs dinner to raise funds to assist Ukraine.
The pasta dinners will begin being served Saturday at St. Martha Roman Catholic Church, 3800 Herbertsville Road, Point Pleasant.
Donations will be accepted at the event.
The Knights of Columbus are preparing and providing the food so 100 percent of donations collected will go to the Ukraine Solidarity Fund, which was created by the national Knights of Columbus council to assist Ukrainian refugees in Poland and Ukrainian nationals remaining in Ukraine.
The dinner will be held after the 4:30 p.m. Mass and is available for either eat in or takeout.
