Ranch Hand Needed TomKat Ranch (Pescadero, CA) is looking to hire a motivated person to join our team to work with our Land & Livestock team to feed and care for horses and assist our Facilities team with general ranch repairs and maintenance. Horses & Livestock Basic horse and livestock skills; ability to work with horses, livestock, and farm equipment in a safe manner. Training will be provided. Facilities & Construction Basic construction skills; ability to work with hand and power tools in a safe manner. Training will be provided. Working Conditions: Must be able to: Work outdoors in heat, rain, dust, noise, cold.Lift heavy objects such as hay bales and grain bags.Work with power tools, equipment, and vehicles.Perform physical work including, but not limited to, standing, walking, shoveling, raking. Required Skills & Abilities A friendly, and enthusiastic attitude.Can work independently as well as with a group.Follows directions and takes initiative.Open to learning about regenerative agriculture, pasture-based livestock systemsValid California driver's license with good driving record.Spanish speaking helpful, but not required. Salary and Benefits This is a full-time position, up to 9.5 hours per day and 55 hours per week including weekends. Compensation commensurate with experience and benefits.
