Press release from the Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce: March 22, 2022 Community Rescue Mission Charity Golf Tournament The Board of the Community Rescue Mission present the 2022 Community Rescue Mission Charity Golf Tournament on April 29, 2022. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Fort Smith AR – The Board of the Community Rescue Mission under the direction of Board President Mike Thames present a Charity Golf Tournament to benefit the Community Rescue Mission. The event will be held at Ben Geren Golf Course on April 29, 2022. The golf tournament tees off at 8:00 AM. Lunch will be provided by Bruce & Terri Catering after the event. The 4-man scramble event will include multiple games of skill including a Hole-n-One contest sponsored by Harry Robinson Buick GMC for a vehicle (TBD). Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 teams. All proceeds from the event go back to serving families in need that are served by the Community Rescue Mission. The Community Rescue Mission, established in 1981, is a non-profit, faith-based organization that provides safe shelter, meals, and needed support to help people get back on their feet as quickly as possible. Through collaboration with community non-profits and churches we work to instill hope and empower the families to gain stable and independent lives. Community Rescue Mission is supported by generous contributions from our community. We are excited to bring back our annual Golf Tournament sponsored this year by Harry Robinson, First National Bank and Beshears Construction.
