Description
We are looking to rehoming our goofy, big boy of a dog for $50 and will come with his food and bowls. Originally advertised as a beagle/dachshund when we adopted him, he is clearly not that. We think he is a Rottweiler/Lab mix but could also be wrong as we have never done a doggie DNA test on him. He will be your best friend and biggest cuddle bug. He thinks he is guard dog so will bark to protect your property. He is potty trained. He has been around cats and other dogs with no issues.
Reasons why we are looking to rehome: he has much more energy than we have to give him the best life possible. We think he would benefit from a farm home with space to run and be free and be more so of a working dog to keep up with a runner or ATV as he has a LOT of energy. However he has NOT been around chickens or small farm animals so we can’t guarantee that he wouldn’t try to get them. He is a little food possessive if our son tries to be around his food or rawhides, Otis will look to snap at our son, but has never bit or harmed anybody.
We are looking to rehome him, but will not settle for a home that isn’t going to keep him safe and be committed to him. We have been his parents since he was 6 weeks old (nearly 5 years old right now) and want him to stay safe, but also want him to be happier than the life he has in our small yard and keep him more active than we can. We want him to feel happy with a new family and a new family to feel happy with him. This was a VERY difficult decision to make as a family, we want the best for our big boy. Please email me for more information or questions. Willing to meet in Wichita area.
