We are seeking a babysitter to pick up our son from school in Bed Stuy Monday-Thursday at 2:10pm and watch him until approximately 6:10pm. The school is a pleasant 10 minute walk from our home.
The required work schedule is 16 hours per week but we are very open to guaranteeing additional hours (childcare, cleaning, etc.) if that made the role more attractive. Occasionally we will ask for you to also pickup our 2 year old (at 5:30pm) whose daycare is a 5 min walk from our home.
Duties will include, taking our son to one of the many playgrounds in our neighborhood, occasional homework help, snack preparation (lots of snacks are involved!!) and light housekeeping. We have a full backyard and a basement playroom in our house so there is always plenty of space and plenty to do!
We are a fun and low-key family looking for someone through the end of the school year (March-June). We will have a different schedule in the summer, but are open to continuing a childcare/employment arrangement long-term as well.
My son is very energetic and loves to play. Loves to do art project. Loves to have someone to talk to. A high energy + fun person is a must. Start date is *asap*.
Pay = $25 per hour plus monthly metro card
