EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — All in-person appointments at East Providence city buildings have been suspended due to the coronavirus health emergency. The revised policy took effect on Monday. City service will continue to be conducted by internet, phone, mail or a drop-off box located at East Providence City Hall. Payments and requests for services can be made online at www.eastprovidence.com or by calling 401-435-7500. While city buildings were closed to the public for general business at the start of the pandemic, the change in policy now applies to all visitors and all in-person business at all buildings.
