We practice in my studio that has a large bass amp Looking for a band that plays good hard rock 90s 2000s songs, Alice in Chains, Bush, Seether, Nirvana, Godsmack, and many more, very open range, I even like stuff like matchbox 20, I almost like any pop/alt rock and anything that would create a fun gig once a month or so.I'm also an excellent harmonies/backup singer and have no problem doing both at once. I can often just craft harmonies by ear, on-the-fly, with a clarion high-and-lonesome sound. Happy to rehearse & jam just about anytime, but would prefer gigs be paid & reasonably local... Working cover band seeks bass player. The band consists of Front person, Guitar, Bass, Keys and Drums. The band currently works 2 to 3 gigs per month. We play a combination of Classic Rock (Dance Type), Motown, Disco and Country. Must have reliable transportation, professional gear and attitude. No "weekend warriors" or drugs. Background and harmony singing a plus but not required. African American Male and Female soulful vocalists to cover classic-contemporary soul and R&B hits wanted immediately by established wedding band doing at least 25 gigs yearly. Fun, musical band with multiple singers. Gigs primarily in NY, LI, NJ. We barely rehearse, so must be capable of learning material solidly and reliably.
