So....umm.....are you planning to respond to replies, or is this yet another incident in a long line of unnecessary disappointments? I gotta say...this place is not too kind to musicians or local artists. But hey...I guess that's to be expected when you're "rugged individualists" lol I am so disappointed in how the last couple of years turned out. Hopes were high. Then the reality of the situation set in and the surrealism faded and I was left with the realization that there are no serious musicians in this city or anywhere surrounding. I'm glad I'm leaving and I bet you are too. But you can say goodbye to the one person in Anchorage with the determination and ability to put this place on the map. Hopefully somebody more patient and with more expertise lands here and teaches yall about your inept ways. I tried. I failed. Best of luck to everyone. I hope this city realizes the benefits of a vibrant local music scene.
