Hello I am guitarist looking for a bass player to create original music. I have a huge pool of influences from punk rock, blues, rnb, soul, indie rock (The Beatles, Blur, oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead, The smiths, gorillaz, Parliament, RHCP, Rick James) Looking for someone dedicated, diverse, communicative, creative, open minded to ideas and collaboration and being a decent singer wouldn't hurt. Gender, sex, LGTBQ+, race.. None of that matters here. Just be a good musician. 26-31 (thats around the bands age) willing to create, play whenever, where ever, and be an all around good person. There are enough of the shitty local "Rockstar" personalities in KC. I prefer a bass player than can do more than root note stuff. Like for some songs it works, but musically i love a good melodic, grooving bass style. That can help get people moving. Like Flea, Paul McCartney, Krist Novoselic, Collin Greenwood bootsy, ect. i rehearse out of peculiar, but willing to travel. I just have a space thats free and can be loud.
