I am a semi-retired 62 year old lead and rhythm guitar player with excellent chops and gear. I've been playing 45+ years, hail from Chicago, and have done my share of gigging - including having been on some great stages with some really fine players. Have gigged in front of 100 people in small clubs... but have also gigged in front of 1,000+ people. Frequently gigged clubs in the 400-500 seat range. I am looking to preferably join an existing band that is into classic rock and blues rock covers, as well as potentially a handful of originals. I do my homework, come prepared, know how to rehearse in a band setting, and leave my ego at the door. I also know how to control my volume both at rehearsal and on stage. Not looking to jam, and am not looking to join an open mic night. I'm drama-free, drug-free, and looking to join a band that thinks similarly. I'm also more than willing to kick in $ for rehearsal space if necessary. Unfortunately I do not sing. I have clips and vids of my playing, and expect that you have the same.
