Cyclist Struck On Route 114 In East Providence

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — A cyclist was rushed to the hospital with "life-threatening" injuries after he was struck on the Wampanoag Trail in East Providence Thursday morning. WPRI-TV reported the man was hit near the Forbes Street off ramp, according to police. The station said the driver remained on scene and was cooperative. A police investigation was affecting traffic in the area around midday on Thursday.
