Funk, Reggae-Fusion, Rock, Pop?

I’ve been active in the local Cinci music scene since moving here from Dayton over 8 years and am interested in seeing if there are any other musicians out there interested in doing something along the lines of a Police Cover band? This would be 80s inspired to todays Reggae-fusion music with bands like The Police, Magic, Fishbone, UB40, 311, Sublime peppered with whatever the band decides is fun and energetic music that can entertain and keep crowds on the Dance Floors. I have a full studio with a full PA, Drum kit, Guitars/Amps, Keyboard Controller/DAW/MIDI apps, and Bass/Amps so practicing and recording is no problem. If age matters, and it REALLY doesn’t to me, I’m just into my early 50s. I wanted to again send a HUGE thanks goes out to the folks that have reached out (Michale, Gene, Mike, Brendan) and are still interested/staying in contact.
