University Of California Extends Application Deadline To Friday

CALIFORNIA — Because of technical problems experienced by many applicants on Sunday, University of California undergraduate admissions and financial aid officials said on social media Sunday night said the deadline for application to UC schools for Fall 2021 has been moved from 11:59 p.m. Monday to 11:59 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4. The announcement appeared on UC Admissions' Twitter feed about 7 p.m. Sunday. A tweet from that account earlier Sunday had said, "The UC application (system) is currently experiencing an outage. We are investigating how to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience." The application process covers UC's nine campuses.
