Description
NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — The community is mobilizing to help find Zak, a 3-year-old cattle dog who went missing in mid-August. Zak is "very skittish" and got away from his adopter in the N. Quidnessett Road area of North Kingstown.
Volunteers are expanding the search area and need help posting updated flyers to widen the search. Those interested in helping out can stop by the rescue at 44 Worthington Rd., Cranston, on Sunday, Sept. 20 between 10 and 10:45 a.m. to pick up flyers and handouts.
Residents of North Kingstown, East Greenwich or Warwick are asked to check their doorbell and security camera footage for sightings. Zak is reddish brown and white and in the 25-30-pound range.
If spotted, do not chase or call his name, but text Team Heart at 401-241-4541 and provide as many details as you can.
