Pioneer Day Pageant 2022, a FUNdraiser hosted by the Okemah Chamber of Commerce to raise funds for future community events Under 4 years of age, $40Over 4 years of age $60There will be a general admission of $1 per visitor Pageant will be held at the Okemah Middle School Auditorium. Please see rules below: 1. Have fun! This is not an official/sponsored/qualifying event. We are here to raise money for the community and have fun. 2. Remember to act as amazing as your participant looks. Constructive criticism is welcome, we are volunteers-not professional pageant people. 3. Be a good sport! Crowns will be given to the winner of each division. The winner of each division will compete for Best overall cash prize. 4. Each participant will only be on stage one time, unless they win their division. If you wish to being another outfit for the final round you may, but it is not required. 5. Contestants will be judged on the following: Originality, Poise/Presentation, Personality, and Crowd Appeal, with a total of 25 points possible per section, highest score wins. 6. Judges and helpers are volunteers and may be local. We will require that judges do NOT have family participating in the event. This is a small town, keep that in mind. We ensure judges to be fair and unbiased. 7. Entries must be received no later than 4/18/2022 to ensure we have enough help and supplies. 8. Timelines will be posted once we have all entries in, we want to be as efficient as possible. 9. Winners will be allowed to ride in Pioneer day Parade the following week. 10. Remember the cause! This is a Pioneer Day tradition and is for fun only. If you are a regular pageant participant, please keep in mind that we are not. You are welcome to compete and get some stage time in, just know that most participants might be first timers-maybe even this time only timers :) Thank you to everyone making this possible, and good luck!
