Candle Making Class at Pure Placid You will make your own candle and have lots of fun! 1. You will come into the Pure Placid Studio at 6006 Sentinel Rd in Lake Placid. 2. We will give a brief description of what we are going to do and the steps. 3. You will pick out a vessel that you are going to make your candle in. 4. You will pick out the scent you are going to use for your candle. 5. You will learn how to attach the wick to the vessel and use a tool to center it. 6. Then you will weigh out the appropriate amount of melted wax for your vessel. 7. You will measure the fragrance oil 8. You will combine the scented oil and the melted wax 9. Pour the mixture into the vessel and voila you made a candle. 10. The candle will take three hours to set so you can return to Pure Placid the following day to pick it up or we can ship it to you. We will offer coffee or tea and a light snack. The whole experience will take about an hour. Other things to note We're excited to make the candles with you it will be fun. Be sure you know that the candles will need to harden so you will need to wait a day to pick it up or we will ship it to you.
