Help us build bat boxes to support bat conservation in Montgomery County! Join us on Saturday April 2nd from 10am to 12pm to build bat houses! This event is for youth ages 14-18 and will support our Bethesda Green Environmental Leader Program. The houses will be used to create new habitat for the Little Brown Bat, a native bat species in Maryland. Bat box building kits will be provided. This event is limited to 15 participants. Parental consent to participate is required for anyone under 18 years of age. A list of materials and supplies will be sent after registration. This event is sponsored by Bethesda Green and the Chesapeake Bay Trust Mini Education Grant.
