Description

This is a lovely local park that is the sight of many local festivals and parties throughout the year. It has art installations, trails, workout areas, and lots of open grassy spaces to explore. Give yourself time to explore the park before or after the session. Also budget a little extra time to park in the neighborhood, just in case. (I can usually find parking on Park Avenue) I will be standing near the entrance of the park by the parking lot. You'll know it's me because I'll be carrying a big bag of props (yoga blocks and blankets) and yoga mats. As a group we'll walk through the park to a grassy area with ample space. We'll set up, meet your mat neighbors, and start the music. The yoga flow will last around 75 minutes and is set to a homemade yoga playlist full of chill, instrumentals. My classes are designed for all levels and all bodies, but I always ask participants to volunteer anything specific they'd like me to incorporate. That could be a specific pose, energy level, or muscle group. Expect a good stretch and a rejuvenated mental state. After the flow, I am happy to answer any questions you had about the practice, workshop a pose or two, or give you ATX recommendations. I'm an Austin native, so I have plenty of coffee, food, and activity recs. I'll pack up my things and you and leave you to explore.
