We are currently hiring for Solar Installers/Roof Site Work Help. We are located in Glastonbury, CT however primarily work in the Western and Central areas of CT. Job Summary Summary Description: Assist in the assembly and installation of solar systems on roofs or other structures in compliance with site assessment and schematics. May include measuring, cutting, assembling, and bolting structural framing and solar modules. Job Responsibilities: Assess the job site, identify and resolve any potential hazards Install solar panel systems, including the solar collectors, concentrators, batteries, pumps, fans, or support structure. Weatherproof the solar installation in accordance with local safety regulations and the specifications of the manufacturer. Experience: Must have general construction knowledge and experience Basic electrical knowledge and experience working in a related field is preferred. Solar Installation experience PREFERRED by will train the right applicant. 6 months related experience required Qualifications: Valid drivers license Background check compliant Good customer service, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic Ability to carry, lift, and install solar panels.
