Small property management company offering a property maintenance position for an independent contractor. This is a part time position of about 20 hours a week. Duties include: - Cleaning - Painting - Carpentry - Landscaping - Snow removal - Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical - Property inspections - Calling appropriate vendor to address issues Some jobs are as small as checking the water level in furnaces every week. Others include inspecting a repair request to figure out what trade needs to be called to fix the issue. Still others include turning over an apartment after a tenant has moved out which needs new paint, new flooring in the bathroom, as well as a new faucet. Hours are somewhat flexible depending on the week. Rare after hours and weekend calls.
