Influences are Grateful Dead, Sublime, Iron Maiden ex.. Get in touch. Help me write. Collaborate In Hyde Park we can play here Hello. I am a singer and lyricist looking to put together a band focused on writing originals. I have 12 songs written, most with at least rudimentary chords/tab. What I need is a *local* guitarist and bassist who will take what I have written and put their mark on it. Solo, with my meager guitar and bass skills, the tracks tend to have a slightly hard Joy Division or The Cure sort of feel. I am not a drummer, so what I have tracked with percussion and synth samples was done in Ableton Live. Just know things sound a tad industrial right now. And while there's a bit of a dark "vibe" currently, sound-wise it could just as likely end up more akin Jane's Addiction or even REM. Again, this where you get to help forge the sound.Any Blues Bass Players wanting to play some Classic Rock also. We have gigs, Our band has been playing 1 or 2 gigs a month for 5 years. ( except 2020 ) We now need a Bass player. We play a few SRV, Eric Clapton, Hendrix, Allman bros., Robin Trower songs. But we do Classic Rock, Pop and dance songs. Stones, Black Crowes, ZZ TOP, Free, Doobie Bros., Robert Palmer, Prince, CCR, Tom Petty, Bad Co., Aero Smith, BTO, Grand Funk, the O’Jay’s, STP……….. We practice in my studio that has a large bass amp Looking for a band that plays good hard rock 90s 2000s songs, Alice in Chains, Bush, Seether, Nirvana, Godsmack, and many more, very open range, I even like stuff like matchbox 20, I almost like any pop/alt rock and anything that would create a fun gig once a month or so.I think it's fair to "wonder". I'm a guitar/bass player of nearly 30 years and I check the Musicians list nearly everyday. I consider myself to be a "real" musician, but many may have their own definition of that. I have a tremendous amount of influences: Children of Bodom, Devin Townsend, Killswitch Engage, to Tears for Fears, The Cure, Talk Talk, to Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains, to geez...Sixpence None The Richer or even Jazz or electronic. I was in a band for five years and played live shows regularly.. We practice in Ravenna. We have drums and p.a. system. Funds are in place for recording, merch and to play shows. We want to play shows at least once a month and more if it's fun. Here are links to the singer (for all my enemies) and guitar and bass player ( laid to rest) to listen to.
