Id like to make a friend doing this but im willing to pay if decided only a one time thing. All original. Simple songs. No pressure all fun. Looking for people who want to be in a crew/family/band. Influences are Grateful Dead, Sublime, Iron Maiden ex.. Get in touch. Help me write. Collaborate In Hyde Park we can play here Hello. I am a singer and lyricist looking to put together a band focused on writing originals. I have 12 songs written, most with at least rudimentary chords/tab. What I need is a *local* guitarist and bassist who will take what I have written and put their mark on it. Solo, with my meager guitar and bass skills, the tracks tend to have a slightly hard Joy Division or The Cure sort of feel. I am not a drummer, so what I have tracked with percussion and synth samples was done in Ableton Live. Just know things sound a tad industrial right now. And while there's a bit of a dark "vibe" currently, sound-wise it could just as likely end up more akin Jane's Addiction or even REM. Again, this where you get to help forge the sound.Any Blues Bass Players wanting to play some Classic Rock also. We have gigs, Our band has been playing 1 or 2 gigs a month for 5 years. ( except 2020 ) We now need a Bass player. We play a few SRV, Eric Clapton, Hendrix, Allman bros., Robin Trower songs. But we do Classic Rock, Pop and dance songs. Stones, Black Crowes, ZZ TOP, Free, Doobie Bros., Robert Palmer, Prince, CCR, Tom Petty, Bad Co., Aero Smith, BTO, Grand Funk, the O’Jay’s, STP……….. Influences: Damn....to answer this is crazy, because there are so many. We think the large amount of influences make us approach the way we write songs with more of a broad spectrum. Instead of every song being the same tempo, style and tone, we mix it up. One song is straight up blues rock, another has a country rock vibe, while another has a Jimmy Buffett meets Jackson Browne type of vibe.would create a fun gig once a month or so.I'm also an excellent harmonies/backup singer and have no problem doing both at once. I can often just craft harmonies by ear, on-the-fly, with a clarion high-and-lonesome sound. Happy to rehearse & jam just about anytime, but would prefer gigs be paid & reasonably local... Working Cover Band playing Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Country, and Blues seeking male or female keyboard player. Vocals a definite plus. Need ASAP. Looking for committed serious musician that wants to play. Reply with age and experience.
