A weekend seminar that will give you the research proven skills to create and improve your connection and communication with your spouse. This two day weekend seminar is scheduled for Fridays, 6pm-9:30pm and Saturdays 9:30am -4pm. 2022 Seminar Dates: March 25th-26th; May 6th-7th and September 23-24th, 2022. This is a 100% research based, practical seminar that covers proven tools to help couples: -improve friendship, fondness and admiration -enhance romance and intimacy -manage conflict constructively -gain skills to address perpetual and solvable problems -understand the keys to building and creating a healthy marriage including the 4 predictors of divorce (and their antidotes) -how to improve connection and communication with her spouse It is appropriate for all couples from newlyweds to seniors who are looking to enhance their marriage and needing better conflict management tools. It is inappropriate for couples in severe relationship distress or where any emotional or domestic abuse is present or with a spouse with active addictions (alcohol, drug, sexual or gambling) or who has serious unaddressed mental health in one or more partners. The Seven Principles Couples Program format includes lectures and private couple exercises. Participants will not be asked to share their personal problems with others. Included in the registration are two Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work Couple Guides and a copy of John Gottman’s book, “Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work.” If you must cancel prior to 7 days before the class, a full refund minus the eventbrite processing fee will be given. For cancellations thereafter, you will receive a credit good for one full year that you can use to attend another seminar. All couples on the waitlist will be guaranteed a spot at the next available seminar.
