Kombucha is a highly intelligent, affectionate, protective, somewhat skittish 7 month old. He is 22 pounds. He was fixed last week. He s grown up around chickens and cats. He s pretty shy of other dog at dog parks but not aggression or problems, just independent. We would like Kombucha to go to someone with a lot of time to be with him and someone who know the Healer breed. He is protective of his people and his property. He is somewhat anxious and will need a lot of continued socialization to increase his confidence and calm. He is protective of his family which is both wonderful and a consideration for placement. My 7 yr old was playing swords with an older cousin and Booch nipped the cousin in misunderstanding play fighting. He barks at mailman and if anyone comes to the door. He is very sweet to people he is bonded to and and a good alarm. We have 3 children and our house maybe be too full of their friends and extended family for his comfort. He will be more comfortable with a more predictable environment. He is fully house broken. He loves fetch and tennis balls. He is fully vaccinated, fixed, on flea and heart worm medicine. He walks very nicely on a leash and is learning to heal well under voice commands.
