Essential duties of the line RV technician are as follows: Technicians will perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards. RV Technicians diagnoses cause of any malfunction and perform repairs as directed by your service advisor or team lead. Communicate properly with parts department to obtain correct parts. RV Tech will save and tag parts from repairs if under warranty or if requested by the customer. RV Handyman Inspect assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended. RV Mechanic Communicate with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time. RV Technician documents all work performed and recommended in the computer and on the repair order. Road test vehicles when required. Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events. To report machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor. To ensures that customer's RV's kept clean and damage free. Notifies service writer immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
