Description

To bring awareness around rescue, education, empowerment and resources to stop human trafficking and support survivors in the community. Please join District 109 State Representative Carl Sherman at Dallas College Cedar Valley Campus for a community discussion on Human Trafficking. Human trafficking is a modern-day form of slavery involving the illegal trade of people for exploitation or commercial gain. Every year, millions of men, women, and children are trafficked in countries around the world, including the United States. In fact, Texas ranks #2 in our country for human trafficking. We must bring awareness to this issue and identify ways and resources to prevent it from occurring in our community.
