Description
Attend the only state-wide idea competition where Texas high schoolers compete with their BIG idea for cash prizes! The McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship invites you to join us for our 2022 Texas High School Ideas Challenge! The Texas High School Ideas Challenge is a State-wide idea competition that motivates high school students to explore entrepreneurship and discover the benefit of an entrepreneurial mindset. The Challenge is modeled after the Raymond Ideas Challenge available to current students at Texas A&M University. To compete, students only need an idea! There is no business plan or product development required for the Texas High School Ideas Challenge. Students must prepare and submit a compelling application that illustrates the creative, careful, and methodical planning that has gone into their idea. On competition day, a select group of student finalists are invited to present their idea to a panel of judges and compete for close to $15,000 in prize money. Each student finalist is given 5 minutes to present and then given an additional 5 minutes to field questions from the judging panel.
