This training is open to yoga teachers, meditation teachers, energy workers, wellness coaches, and others who work in group settings. Terms: Tuition includes the cost of a hand hammered singing bowl, mallet and bag. Non-refundable deposit of $225 is due to reserve your spot. Join Jessica C at Soul Strong Yoga for Sound Immersion for Yoga Teachers on April 24th from 9am to 5pm. Prepare to be welcomed to the world of sound and you'll gain accessible tools to use sound with your current offerings. Sound therapy is a method of relaxation and meditation that utilizes singing bowls, gongs, and other healing instruments to promote stress relief and healing. Sound is not about performance, but rather using the instruments to move stagnant energy in our environment and bodies. Sound vibrations impact our nervous system, engaging our relaxation reflex and inhibiting the stress and pain responses. This training is perfect for mindful leaders who are currently leading classes, meditations, retreats, virtually or in person. You can expect to leave this training knowing how to play your new bowl, how to use sound in your class settings, as well as how to expand your practice and your instrument collection if you wish! First Half: Introduction Start of the day we will build a firm foundation of sound for your practice, including the background, history, as well as tactical tips on how to play your singing bowl. Giving you a better understanding of how sound can support you and your students. Second Half: Integration Later that day we will work with how to grow your practice into playing for groups, how to expand your practice into gongs, grow your bowl collection, and even how to play the crystal bowls. You'll be guided through practice sessions as you put your newly-found knowledge and tools to use and help you introduce sound into your community.
