A General Laborer will perform tasks involving physical labor at parks, parking lots, and/or roadways by operating one or several types of maintenance equipment. Other job duties may be assigned. Essential Functions: An employee in this class has general construction responsibilities. Work is performed under general supervision. - Maintain grounds and common areas and keep them free from trash and debris. - Report maintenance concerns directly to management and perform repairs. - Shoveling dirt running Jumping jack compactor moving material - The Laborers and Helpers work closely with management to maintain a clean, safe and appealing property. - Communicate regularly and professionally with management and staff, work closely with them on all Projects. - Must be able to move heavy objects - Dig and backfill trenches.  Compaction of same. - Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
